Bag thieves navigate directly into beatdown

Phnom Penh traffic can be a nightmare, especially when you’ve just pinched a handbag and you’re trying to make a quick getaway.

Two thieves who’d done just that panicked when their motorcycle encountered early morning congestion in Daun Penh district on Monday, crashing into another bike and tipping over.

One of the criminals managed to flee, but the other got rough justice from locals, who beat him up before police arrived.
