A bamboozled chicken run ends in two arrests

A thief in Kampong Cham town might chicken out of future crimes after a botched burglary landed him in prison.

Police said the 32-year-old thief foolishly attempted to steal a sack of 10 chickens from a farm on Sunday under the watchful eye of its owner.

Stopping a speedy getaway, the owner grabbed a knife and attacked the thief. A neighbour stopped the brawl and police put both men in cuffs. DEUM AMPIL
