Bandits shoot for legs during moto robbery

Police are searching for a group of men who allegedly shot a couple in their legs, after a failed motorbike robbery attempt in Banteay Meanchey province’s Poipet district on Tuesday.

The man and woman were riding home from work together, when the suspects drove up beside them, one of them pointing a gun, and coaxed them to pull over.

The suspects demanded the couple get off their bike. When they refused, the armed man opened fire. Both were hospitalised. KOH SANTEPHEAP
