A flat tyre lent itself to the perfect crime of opportunity in Pailin on Tuesday.

Police said that the suspect had shown up a moto repair shop with a flat tyre when a scheme struck him.

Asking to use the bathroom in the house, he instead rummaged around, found the mechanic’s stash of $200 cash and emerged, seemingly in a hurry to have the flat fixed.

It wasn’t until he was gone that the mechanic discovered the missing cash and pieced it together.
