Battery thief lacked the energy for a fistfight

Police arrested a 27-year-old man on Monday in Kampong Chhnang town for the alleged attempted theft of three large batteries from inside a boat.

According to police, the victim had docked his boat behind his house and gone inside to re-energise with a nap.

He awoke and apparently saw the man going after his batteries, so he beat him until police intervened and made the arrest. KOH SANTEPHEAP
