A happy birthday in Phnom Penh ended unhappily for four friends on Friday after a drunken brawl.

Police reported that the men joined the party in Dangkor district, but festivities turned sour when one of them allegedly touched a woman’s hand, infuriating her boyfriend who ordered his friends to help attack them with wine bottles.

By the time police intervened, the suspects had fled the scene, but victims were sent to the hospital.
