Bitten by dog, man puts the hammer down

A man in Poipet was so angry at a dog for biting him on Monday that he tried to beat it with a hammer, only to end up hitting its owner instead.

As the man, 34, tried to hit the dog, its owner, a 48-year-old woman, rushed out and tried to cover the poor pooch with her own body.

Sure enough, she was hit by the hammer-wielding man instead, who later told police after his arrest that he’d been aiming for the canine. KOH SANTEPHEAP
