A woman in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district got a rude introduction to the old adage “neither a borrower nor a lender be” on Friday.

The woman, 22, did her relative a favour, lending him her motorbike to visit a friend. According to police, the male relative, 25, pawned the bike for $250 and spent all the money, hoping his relative wouldn’t need her wheels back.
