Preparing for class was the last thing on the mind of a 19-year-old who broke into a stationery stall on Monday in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district.
Police said the man was loading up on books, pens, and other materials when a newspaper delivery boy spotted him and shouted for help. Neighbours rushed in and beat the man to the ground before calling police.
The suspect reportedly confessed to trying to steal the material for sale as he was unemployed. NOKORWAT
