Boozed-up driver mows down child in capital

A drunk behind the wheel of a Lexus SUV on a busy Phnom Penh street hit a 7-year-old boy before running his luxury vehicle into an electricity post on Tuesday.

The accident left the child seriously injured and the front of the car effectively destroyed. Police arrested the driver, who was apparently too drunk to move, and are investigating the case.
