Borrowed bike does a vanishing act in Kratie

A suspect proved that he valued a five-year friendship at $300 in Kratie province on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old man borrowed his friend’s motorbike, but when the suspect didn’t return it for four days, the victim called the authorities, police said.

When police arrested the suspect, he allegedly told them he had already sold the motorbike for $300. Police sent the fair-weather friend to court. DEUM AMPIL
