A Kampong Chhnang boy may have been at the top of the heap for a few minutes, but it soon turned to disaster.
The boy’s father, a 45-year-old wood transporter, loaded a Macgyvered truck with logs, and then put his six-year-old son and a villager on top of the pile.
The father swerved to avoid a pothole, forgetting the passengers up top weren’t tied in. The truck capsized, throwing the boy, the villager, and the wood from the vehicle.
The boy was critically injured, but the villager sustained minor wounds. Nokorwat
