Breaking bread turns into breaking skulls

Three agricultural workers were badly injured in Pailin town, after a booze-soaked dinner turned into a stick fight on Friday night. Police said the hurt men were among a group of seven who worked at a cassava plantation.

A disagreement erupted at dinner, and the wooden weapons came out. Police intervened in the brawl, which saw the three sent to hospital with head and other injuries. Authorities do not yet know what caused the incident. KOH SANTEPHEAP
