Brother stands up for sister, lies in hospital

A 15-year-old boy from Prey Veng’s Peamro district was hospitalised on Saturday after trying to step in and defend his sister from her 25-year-old drunk and abusive husband. The teenager was set upon with a stick by his boozed up brother-in-law, and ended up needing treatment for injuries to his head and body. Cops intervened and arrested the attacker the same day, who claimed he was too drunk to control himself. CEN
