Businessman on the run not fast enough

A shady businessman was thrown into Prey Sar prison on Friday after some dirty dealing in a transaction involving sand-dredging equipment.

Police said the man had struck a deal to hand over the equipment once his client had paid in full the agreed-upon $170,000. After receiving the money, however, the man skipped town and laid low until his arrest last Wednesday.

The court awarded the plaintiff with hefty damages, while awarding the dirty dealer a two-year prison term. KOH SANTEPHEAP
