Buyer beware: thieves and customer arrested

A gang of five girls aged 13 to 16 was apprehended on Friday, after an alleged spree of thefts the previous day on Ochheuteal Beach near Sihanoukville. Police said visitors filed complaints after items went missing.

The girls were found in possession of a handbag containing $50, car keys and phones. Upon confessing, the girls gave up a 47-year-old woman who had been buying the goods. She was arrested alongside the 16-year-old. The other girls were too young to be charged. DEUM AMPIL
