A mobile phone theft was thwarted by members of a community in the capital’s Sen Sok district on Wednesday.

Police say an unemployed man and a motodop snatched a woman’s phone as she was chatting on the back of a moto.

Shouting out “phone snatchers!” the woman alerted members of the public, who caught one of the suspects.

The other abandoned his bike and tried to escape into a wooded area, but was also caught. NOKORWAT
