A Siem Reap repair shop went up in flames on Wednesday and left people pointing fingers.

Varin district police say a tractor owner pulled up to fix his rig, borrowing tools without asking the shopowner.

His original sin was outdone, however, when he left the engine running right next to where petrol tanks were being filled.

Though no one was seriously injured in the explosion, the shop was destroyed.

The fuming owner demanded $20,000 compensation from the farmer to rebuild his smouldering shop.
