Cash flow sows chaos in peaceful card game

A man who mistakenly thought his money had been stolen during a village card game attacked a fellow player with a shovel in Takeo on Tuesday.

The irate player believed his opponent had nicked $100 when his back was turned, an allegation the victim strenuously denied.

It turned out that he was telling nothing but the truth – police arrived later to find that the wind had blown the cash only a short distance away. KOH SANTEPHEAP
