What seemed like a dynamite idea blew up in the faces of three fishermen on Saturday off Koh Kong.

Police said the three men were caught fishing off Chhlam Island, using not nets but improvised bombs – a no no in the Kingdom.

Arresting officers took in not only the men but also their boat and a bag of fish, which, police said, still looked “fresh and eatable.”

After confessing, the trio were sent on to provincial court.
