Chain beating proves three’s really is a crowd

A two-on-one squabble between a man and a pair of siblings looks set to end in court for the non-family member.

Police said the 32-year-old suspect was walking at night with the two brothers when they suggested it was time to part ways.

Insulted, the man argued with the duo, prompting them to throw his bike into a pond. Enraged, he produced a chain which he used to beat the pair.

By dawn, police were at his front door, and he found little sympathy for his explanation: “they started it”. Kampuchea Thmey
