Chair-swinging melee leaves two men injured

A good old-fashioned brawl broke out in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Monday, complete with swinging chairs.

It goes without saying that the participants – two groups at a local restaurant – were drinking beer when an argument began.

It quickly escalated until the antagonists leapt from their seats and began using them as weapons. Two were left injured in the melee. Five escaped, but restaurant staff managed to detain one for police. NOKORWAT
