A cheap shot after pool loss is thug’s cue to flee

A young pool player found himself at the other end of a competitor’s stick on Saturday, when the frustrated loser beat him with a cue, police said.

The 23-year-old victim ended up in hospital after the 36-year-old suspect attacked him when he refused a rematch after winning money from the suspect.

The sore loser escaped the scene, but was arrested later in the day after the victim’s family filed a complaint. KOH SANTEPHEAP
