Child struck by car in Kampong Cham

A 4-year-old girl was seriously injured in a car accident in Kampong Cham’s Batheay district yesterday. Police said the girl’s father was crossing a street at the market.

The girl, unbeknownst to him, had set out to follow him a couple metres behind when she was struck by an oncoming car.

The girl was sent for medical treatment, and police are detaining the driver.
