Civic help saves tourists in Kingdom of wonder

Although a pair of locals did no favours for Cambodian tourism when they snatched the bag of a Chinese tourist at Wat Phnom on Tuesday, a group of other residents more than made up for it by quickly apprehending the thief.

Police said the tourist was strolling around Wat Phnom his bag was snatched. Quick-thinking locals nearby sprung into action, attacking the thieves. The tourist got his bag back and the cops got two thieves. DEUM AMPIL
