Club kids don’t go gentle into that good night

A nightclub brawl put a club-goer and security guard in hospital and two men behind bars on Wednesday in the capital’s Tuol Kork district.

Police said two groups of young men had been arguing at the establishment when things escalated, eventually prompting one group to flee.

The other group, however, wouldn’t let them go without a fight, setting upon them outside and felling one with a head injury.

A security guard attempted to intervene only to be injured for his trouble. Police arriving on the scene managed to grab two of the assailants.
