A routine traffic stop ended in much more than a fine for a capital motorist on Tuesday.

Police said officers had flagged the man down in Por Sen Chey district over a driving infraction when they saw a suspicious package drop from his trousers.

The package contained drugs, and a search of the man’s person allegedly turned up one more package and an illegal gun.

Cops accused the man on the spot of delivering drugs, and hauled him off to court.
