A handful of cockfighting enthusiasts were inspired by their avian gladiators to try to take flight from a second-storey window during a police raid in Kratie town on Sunday, and as is usually the case in these matters, all six were arrested.
According to police, the cockfight’s other attendees had the sense to escape – successfully – on solid ground. The six foolhardy fliers, however, were detained and made to promise not to take part in cockfighting again. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
