Police responding to a local tip raided a den of cockfighters in Takeo’s Bati district yesterday.
Though most of the suspects fled into the nearby woods, police managed to nab four men, aged 32, 35, 42 and 50.
Authorities confiscated five fighting birds and multiple pieces of bloodsport paraphernalia.
The suspects and the evidence have been sent to the local police station. It was unclear if the four had yet been charged.
