Come for the reception, stay for the jail sentence

Everybody loves a good wedding, even fugitives. So when the brother of two men wanted for assault got married yesterday, police decided to crash the ceremony.

Sure enough, the runaway brothers, accused of beating a man with a stick in Kampong Cham’s Prey Chhor district, showed up wrongly thinking police had forgotten them.

Police arrested the pair and questioned them over the attack, which saw the victim hospitalised. Deum Ampil
