Comely crook gets no clemency from coppers

Ever heard the pick-up line “If looking good were a crime, you’d be guilty as charged”?

Well, a woman described as “beautiful” by villagers at Prek Pra Market in Phnom Penh’s Chbar Ampov district was quite literally picked up and arrested by four policemen – albeit not for her good looks.

Rather, the woman was the subject of an arrest warrant from the court on charges of breach of trust, according to Prek Pra commune police.

Her husband was also said to have been arrested.
