Comeuppance comes with price tag for drunk

A loudmouth drunk is crying foul after offering some unwanted thoughts to a group of gamblers on Tuesday.

Police said the man, 47, had come home loaded when he approached a group of villagers playing cards and proceeded to needle the lot of them.

One of the group, a 41 year old who had lost quite a bit of money, finally snapped and punched the man in the face three times before he was restrained by friends.

The aggrieved drunk is now suing for $2,500 in compensation for the blows. DEUM AMPIL
