Computer thief scared by victim’s cry for help

A jittery thief was arrested in Kampong Cham’s Memot town on Sunday after his getaway went awry.

According to police, the victim had gone to the park for a bit of exercise, and had brought his laptop along.

When the computer was briefly unattended the suspect snatched it and made for a speedy exit on a moto.

However, the victim screamed for help and the thief – rattled – crashed into a shop, injuring himself and leading to his arrest.
