Phnom Penh cops caught up with a tool-swiping construction worker in Meanchey district on Tuesday, three days after he walked out of a hardware store with $200 of merchandise that he hadn’t paid for.

But the brickie apparently didn’t put enough thought behind the caper – the owner of the business recognised him and was able to give police detailed information, leading to his arrest at the construction site he was working on.
