Cop missing digit after violent assault by trio

A Kampong Chnang police officer lost a finger on Monday after being attacked by a group of thugs.

Police said the man – a major – was riding a motorbike when he had a flat tire and sent his subordinate to get assistance.

Moments later, three inebriated men rode up and asked out of the blue why he had “insulted their mothers”.

Despite having the only gun in the situation, he was quickly surrounded and slashed with a knife.

Luckily for him, a mass of villagers came to his aid and cornered the trio, who were arrested when backup arrived.
