Cops end light-fingered ladies’ thieving spree

Eleven women had little to celebrate after they were arrested for their thieving ways at the Water Festival in Siem Reap town yesterday.

According to provincial police, the suspects from various provinces had snatched bags, picked pockets and prised off necklaces from tourists during celebrations from Monday to Wednesday.

They are now being detained at the police station and will be sent to court on Friday.
