Crook commits dumb crime for smartphone

A light-fingered hotel guest was nabbed in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Saturday, after reportedly stealing a smartphone left lying around in a communal area.

The 24-year-old allegedly lifted the handset from a lounge before immediately going outside to grab food.

But upon his return he encountered waiting cops and an angry hotel manager with security camera footage to disprove his denials.
