Crooks in uniform rob couple’s Kampot home

Members of the army appear to have taken to looting after three uniformed but unidentified suspects were reported stealing jewellery and other booty from a home in Kampot on Wednesday.

Police said that a grocery-vendor couple in their forties were robbed of 1.2 million riel (about $300), a bracelet and two mobile phones.

The suspects fled before police arrived, but authorities remain in pursuit.
