Three law-abiding moto riders wound up in hospital after a collision with a light-running lout in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Sunday night.

The men had rolled up to an intersection, and seeing their light green, attempted to cross, bringing them squarely into the path of a car blazing through the red light.

The ensuing crash landed the trio in hospital, while the crippled car’s driver managed to flee the scene on foot. Police arrived and impounded both vehicles in preparation for further legal action.
