“Sorry” wasn’t enough for the driver of a big rig that was hit by a pickup truck on Sunday, nor for witnesses, who prevented the driver of the smaller vehicle from fleeing the scene.
Police said the accident in the capital’s Chamkarmon district saw the pickup clip the side of the tractor trailer on a narrow road.
The 34-year-old pickup driver reportedly shouted “sorry” out the window and attempted to speed away, but motodops who witnessed the crash forced him off the road and held him until police arrived. KOH SANTEPHEAP
