Don’t judge a book – or drug dealer – by its cover, is what Phnom Penh police in Chamkarmon district learned after they nailed a young woman with a hefty pile of drugs.

The crackdown was staged yesterday as authorities came to the 20-year-old’s rental room, conducted a search and confiscated 23 bags of substance, a black handbag, some cash and a cellphone.

Hoping it wasn’t too late to put her back on the straight path, cops hauled her downtown for legal action.
