A 29-year-old woman was attacked by a mentally ill woman in Preah Vihear town on Monday, leaving her seriously injured.

Police said the suspect was squatting at the victim’s home, who chased her away.

Angered, the mentally ill woman picked up a stone and attacked the victim’s head, then stuck around until police arrived.

When the cops arrested her, she was reportedly sitting there laughing. The victim has been hospitalised.
