Dog poachers headed to the people kennel

Two dog-nappers were arrested in Phnom Penh yesterday with two pilfered pets stuffed in a sack.

Police became suspicious as they watched the pair prowl Por Sen Chey district with a suspiciously bulging sack, which on later inspection was found to contain two misappropriated mutts.

The pooch-poachers, aged 25 and 29, foolishly ignored the police order to halt, and instead made unsuccessful attempt to scram. Police are now preparing to send the dog-stealing duo to court.
