Dogged thief no match for local pet detectives

A man in Oddar Meanchey has been hounded by local police for his serial canine-thieving antics.

According to local authorities, the 42-year-old was reported chasing a dog with a bamboo stick on his motorbike on Saturday evening, after already pilfering the pooch of a nearby villager.

The man was arrested after a complaint by the owner and police now have their noses to the ground for any other dog-nappers in the Trapaing Prasat community.
