Domestic assault ends in husband’s arrest

Police arrested a man in the capital’s Chbar Ampov district after he allegedly viciously attacked his wife and threatened to kill her during an argument on Friday night.

Cops said the two were arguing about money when the husband lashed out, knocking the woman unconscious, then threatened to set her on fire.

Fortunately, family members intervened, taking the woman to hospital, while police hauled the suspect off to the station.
