A car drunkenly left in front of the house rather than parked behind its gate was unsurprisingly gone when its 33-year-old owner emerged bleary eyed on Monday morning.

Police said the resident of Kandal province’s Takhmao town had been too blitzed after a heavy night of drinking to be bothered with safekeeping the car, though he told them he was “surprised” to discover it missing the next day.

No suspects yet, just a painful lesson.
