A novice Kampot driver had trouble distinguishing the dining room from the parking lot at a restaurant he ploughed into in Chhouk district.

Police say the 42-year-old was just learning to drive a pickup truck on Monday when he swerved into the establishment, and then fled the scene.

Five patrons were sent to the hospital with injuries and authorities are searching for the escaped dinner disrupter.
