A 25-year-old builder had his left leg broken by a speeding Toyota on Monday in Preah Sihanouk’s Prey Nub district. Police said the victim was riding his motorbike with a relative, 19, when the Toyota tried to overtake the bike, presumably without looking at the car’s sideview mirrors.

The car smashed into the bike, breaking the construction worker’s leg and slightly injuring his relative. Adding insult to injury, the car tried to flee the scene. Police stopped the vehicle, but the driver escaped. NOKORWAT
