Driver loses new bling, gains a couple bruises

Thieves imposed a double-whammy on an unsuspecting victim in the capital’s Sen Sok district on Tuesday, when they snatched his necklace.

Sporting a necklace he just bought, the man stopped at a traffic light while driving on his motorbike. When the light turned green, two suspects grabbed his necklace, stealing his jewellery but also ripping him from his vehicle.

His injuries required hospitalisation, and he was unable to identify the helmeted thieves to police. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
