Drug addict ungrateful for bro’s intervention

A 24-year-old was arrested for allegedly hacking his brother-in-law nearly to death in Kratie on Saturday.

According to police the suspect and his friends were drinking and getting high, after which the suspect demanded cash to buy more drugs.

Belligerent, the man began throwing objects, at which point his brother-in-law said he had a problem, provoking the suspect to hack him with an axe.

Neighbours rushed the victim to the hospital while police have sent the suspect to court.
